Can David get past Golith?...the Bowman boys are poised to do just that.

The Boys basketball team at Thea Bowman are eyeing the prize that is in front of them next Tuesday in East Chicago...

They got their list and they are checking it twice as they get prepared to take on the State Champs from a year ago, Angel Garcia and the East Chicago Central Cardinals.

They understand that even though they might not get the respect that they deserve in NWI, they could do something that not one High School in Gary has done and that is beat the defending state champs this year...and that is what they are aiming for.

I bumped into Cylk Josephs's mom yesterday and she said "it is going to be good game, those boys are poised, focused and ready to go". I asked her about the recent article that the post-trib had online about the basketbrawl that supposely happend at West Side in Janaury because I was at that game and I didn't witness any brawl or anything and we joked about how she shut down the comment section down to that post, and I assured her that her comments in my opinion were right on target as I also believe that The Post-Tribune shedded light on something that never happened.

Anyway I can't wait until Tuesday to see how the Cardinals and the Eagles get it done. It should make for a very interesting game with the young, inexperienced Bowman boys and the experienced-seasoned veteran Cardinals.
