Purdue's NWI connection doing big thangs

You might want to pay attention to what is going on down at Purdue...As I was watching this game come to a conclusion, I could hear TI's Big Thangs Poppin...going off in my head.

A starting lineup of Freshman and Sophomores are blazing the trail and 3 players from the region...2 which are starting --G/F- Robbie Hummel(Valpo), G- E'Twaun Moore(ECC)and G/F- Scott Martin, who is coming off the bench.

Before tonight's game tipped the Boilermakers(20-5) were ranked #23 and will more than likely break the top 20 after pulling off an upset of #9 Michigan State(20-4) tonight and beating another top 10 team in Wisconsin a few days ago...this team is on a mission.

The Boilermakers have reeled off 10 straight victories and have only one lost in 2008 and that loss was avenged tonight at Mackey Arena as they turned up the heat against a #9 ranked Michigan St, winning 60-54

Hummel had 24pts and 11 boards as he hit some huge clutch treys to seal the victory and E'Twaun Moore had 12pts and came up BIG in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Now I got a decision to make either go to EC Central and watch Thea Bowman play The EC Cardinals or stay at home and watch the E'Twaun Moore and the Boilermakers v. Eric Gordon and the Indiana Hoosiers.
