Who says #13 ain't lucky just ask UConn...San Diego advances on buzzer shot in OT.

San Diego Toreros sent University of Connecticut home early...most people thought that UConn would at least play next week... and maybe they will, but I am certain that it will not be in the NCAA Tournament... it might be a round of golf, or bowling or something of that nature!

What is going on in Tampa for the second game in row today...it was a overtime game and a buzzer beater... the first being #12 Western Kentucky giving #5 Drake the beat down in almost the same situation...buzzer beater in overtime.

If only Belmont could have played Duke in Tampa...they are crying for a do over.

First #5 Drake losses to #12 Western Kentucky and now University of Connecticut the #4 seed goes down to Lucky #13 San Diego...we will have to keep that going, I like the ring to it {Lucky #13}...and it is not like a double-digit seeded team that beats UConn doesn't run deep into the tournament...remember 2006 and #11 George Mason... OK, I am just saying.

The match up this weekend is going to be San Diego v. Western Kentucky, who would have thought???...I am pretty sure this lost messed up most people's bracket now...unless it was some little old lady that let her dog or cat pick the teams.

Anyway it was a good game and lots of back and forth...even a bunch of ties in like the last 60 seconds...and as a side note UConn played most of the game w/o their leading scorer on the season as A.J. Price went down with 9 minutes to play in the first half with a knew injury and didn't return and San Diego went on dominate the game including getting a 11 point lead in the 2nd half.
